Context: In 2004, approximately 53000 women living in France had undergone female genital mutilation (FGM). Despite research affirming the lack of medical knowledge by practitioners, few studies have explored the perspectives of these women. Objective: Analyse the experiences and expectations of circumcised women in health care. Method: Using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis, 8 semi-structured interviews were conducted between July 2017 and July 2018 in Grenoble with volunteering French speaking, circumcised women, over the age of 18.
