INTRODUCTION: Bariatric surgery leads to body weight loss and improved obesity-related co-morbidities. This study aimed at evaluating the impact of severe, treated obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) on weight loss, risk of complications and evolution of metabolic comorbidities at 1 year postoperatively. MATERIALS AND METHODS: All patients who underwent bariatric surgery and one-year of post-operative follow-up between September 1, 2013 and June 1, 2019 were included.
