The main objective of this thesis is to make more reliable and relevant building’s energy performance diagnostic. The current regulatory context is too simplified to allow massification of efficient building retrofit. Currently, building’s energy performance diagnostic is made in order to make comparable building’s performance without taking into account the use, the functioning and the external environment. The result is a standardized performance and not a representative performance of the building. Finally, renovations recommended are not specific to the building and the resulting savings are tainted with errors.
