The purpose of this research study was to gain an understanding of the lived experiences of kindergarten to grade four classroom teachers related to student mental health. Six individual educators, between 30 and 65 years of age, with varied years of experience in kindergarten to grade four classrooms participated in the study. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with each of the participants, using van Manen’s method of phenomenological inquiry.
