The optimal organization of terminological (meta) data is an indispensable practice in the design and implementation of language resources. In this paper, we describe a methodology for the structural standardization of terminological resources based on the application of de jure standards developed by the ISO TC 37/SC 3 in order to ensure the FAIRness of terminological data. In this regard, we describe a project, recently launched by the University of Padua, which adopts the proposed paradigm in order to create the CAMEO multilingual terminological database for the commercial domain.
