Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of non-surgical treatments of peri-implantitis protocols. Methods: This review was conducted through a systematic search in the PubMed database. Human studies reporting non-surgical treatment of peri-implantitis with 3 or more months of follow up published in English language were evaluated. A review was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the different protocols employed in the included investigations. Results: Ten articles were obtained and assessed, comparing the outcomes of the technique used as treatment of peri-implantitis.
