The fire performances of marine products are assessed with large scale fire resistance tests following dedicated Standards. However, regarding the conditions of such normative tests, orientation studies for research and development purposes are limited. The aim of the present study is now to develop a numerical model to investigate others configurations. Using the fire performance results of a given bulkhead achieved by fire resistance tests, extrapolation of thicknesses, material properties, joint configuration, etc. can be numerically assessed and used to validate or orientate the final configuration to be tested
