Recently, the use of ePortfolios has tremendously increased in the higher education sector; however, the use of ePortfolios in veterinary education is still in its infancy. As a sophisticated means of e-learning, ePortfolios can be utilized in veterinary education in many ways such as documenting, tracking, and assessing student skills/clinical competency; integrating new digital technologies such as digital badges, digital learning analytics, and gamification; and promoting reflective learning, feedback culture, and future employability.
