[EN] The paper enquires which model of political anthropology Kant's notion of Enlightenment is based on. To fulfill this aim, first I shall identify the reasons why Kant rejects any model of power based on the mere concentration of force and despotism. Secondly, I will attempt to highlight the close connection that this thinker supports between civil power and the pursuit of truth, so that the critique should always play an important role in order to enhance the penetration of political authority in the mindset of people.
