The twobar seabream, Acanthopagrus bifasciatus (Teleostei: Sparidae), in the western Mediterranean Sea: a likely ship-borne introduction

Its external characteristics were described and morphologically analysed. This record represents the second confirmed observation of this species in the Mediterranean Sea and the first for the western basin.
