This research models, simulates, visualizes, analyzes, and evaluates security measures for ballistic missile submarine surface transit. The project continues and extends ongoing work that specifically established baseline capabilities for the visualization and security needs for a weapons handling operational area, using a standards-based extensible architecture and conceptual design that can be tailored for a wide variety of naval support activity locations. NPS researchers will perform an independent system of systems (SoS) capability & gap analysis that identify dependencies and potential limitations for the areas of interest.
