This report summarizes the benefits the Energy Systems Technology Evaluation Program (ESTEP) has provided to the Department of Navy (DON). The ESTEP provides funding for investigators to carry out projects demonstrating the value or feasibility of a proven or emerging technology in the context of DON energy, using DON installations and DON personnel. ESTEP technologies contribute to by assuring energy supply, and increasing energy resilience, while reducing costs and other resource requirements for installations and DON operations, enabling the DON to carry out and sustain its mission.
