Purpose: This research project aims to examine why recruitment and selection is so important for a business and whether it should be dealt with solely by the internal HR and Recruitment teams or whether it should be outsourced to a specialist. Approach: The researcher decided on a qualitative approach to the research project. The researcher arranged internal interviews with members of the HR team, members of the Recruitment team and some general staff members. From these interviews the researcher observed the most common recruitment strategies used by the organisation, the changes on these strategies they plan to make in the future and also looked into other methods, which the organisation could consider using.
