INTRODUCTION Associations between time spent on physical activity, sedentary behavior, and sleep and quality of life are usually studied without considering that their combined time is fixed. This study investigates the reallocation of time spent on physical activity, sedentary behavior, and sleep during the 24-hour day and their associations with quality of life. METHODS Data from the 2011-2016 Rotterdam Study were used to perform this cross-sectional analysis among 1,934 participants aged 51-94 years.
