Ein interdisziplinäres Modell zur Bewertung der Auswirkungen auf das Landschaftsbild (LVIE) erarbeitet, welches die bestehenden Konflikte zwischen dem Ausbau der Windenergie an Land und dem Landschaftsschutz lösen soll. Ziel des Modells ist es, die Auswirkungen von anlandigen Windparks auf das Landschaftsbild zu erkennen, zu analysieren und zu bewerten. Die Faktoren, die die visuelle Wirkung beeinflussen können wurden in die drei Dimensionen Landschaftsempfndlichkeit, visuelle Wirkung von Windkraftanlangen und Exposition des Betrachters eingeteilt.
