Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is the most lethal gynecologic malignancy characterized by considerable biological, histological and molecular heterogeneity. Recent findings have already revealed that the tumor microenvironment (TME) plays an essential role in promoting cancer initiation, progression and metastasis.
