The subject of this thesis is the development of a methodology and a software for ride analysis and optimization using 4/7-post testing with sine sweep inputs. A set of frequency response functions and indexes has been defined to evaluate the car performance on the rig, cosidering vertical contact patch load variations and ride height control as the two fundamental aspects. A tool for the identification of car parameters from test data has been developed and full-car model for sweep simulation has been built and used to guide the optimization of the car setup during testing
