TINJAUAN KRIMINOLOGIS TERHADAP TINDAK PIDANA PENIPUAN PROYEK PEMBUATAN JALAN PAVING DI JL. KEDUNGDORO XI SURABAYA (STUDI KASUS DI KEPOLISIAN RESOR KOTA SIDOARJO)

Currently, many fraud criminal acts occur in society in various ways. The main factor of this fraud crime is coming from economic pressure and lifestyle. This research aims to perceive the criminology factors behind the criminal act on concrete block paving road construction fraud at St. Kedungdoro XI, Surabaya. Furthermore, the Sociological Juridical approach was applied as the method with the data collection techniques through the interview, documentation study, observation, literature study, and website/internet. As the outcome, the factor behind this criminal act was due to the perpetrator who learned the crime from others, economic factors, an opportunity, and social control factors that were influenced by educational factors. Here, the investigation process carried out by the Sidoarjo Police had been effective in legal factors, law enforcement factors, and facilities, and infrastructure factors, but the community and cultural factors were still ineffective. Then, the researchers suggest that in the future, the Police Precinct of Sidoarjo are expected to give socialization to the society regarding the fraud cases which frequently happen. It is expected that the society could learn from the criminal act on a concrete block paving road construction fraud at St. Kedungdoro XI, Surabaya so that the society is able to avoid crime, especially a fraud crime in order to assist in deducting criminal acts in the future
