IMPLEMENTASI DAN ANALISA MULTIPATH ROUTING BERBASIS QOS PADA SOFTWARE DEFINED NETWORK

Optimizing the performance services of the network technology is be a focus of current discussion. Multipath routing is a path search method to be used as data transmission using more than one path available on a network. By appliying concept of multipath routing is expected to be a solution to substitute single path routing concept with reduce network traffic congestion by distributing data transmission through several available paths. It can be implemented to Software Defined Network (SDN) that separate control plane and data plane so that can be easily to network development. Therefore, the author implements the modified DFS multipath routing algorithm and using Dijkstra multipath algorithm as a comparison algorithm on the testing. The results of system testing show that the overall algorithm used can determine more than one path that can be used data transmission. The average execution time on all of algorithm gets good results with modified DFS multipath algorithm is 0.0903 ms, DFS multipath algorithm is 0.0858 ms, and Dijkstra multipath algorithm is 0.901 ms. The results of the QoS parameter testing show that our proposes method is better than another multipath routing algorithm in parameter throughput and jitter, but in a parameter packet loss our proposes method is better number two. However implemented DFS multipath algorithm is better than Dijkstra multipath. Overall implement multipath routing concept in SDN with that both algorithm has been show the good results that means can be used more than one paths to data transmission
