PROGRAM PERLINDUNGAN SOSIAL ANAK DI KOTA KEDIRI (Studi di Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan Perlindungan Anak Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana Kota Kediri)

Children are part of the group most vulnerable to becoming victims of violence.Starting from physical, psychological, sexual violence to neglect. Many cases of violence against children that occur are committed by the immediate environment of the child. The importance of the role of all elements of society and local government to carry out social protection for children in order to fulfill children's rights, including that children are free from violence. The purpose of this study was to determine how the children's social protection programs carried out by DP3AP2KB Kediri City. This study uses the concept of social protection and the concept of children with qualitative research methods with descriptive research type. To obtain complete data and information, information is extracted in the form of documentation, interviews with research subjects and informants. The results of this study are DP3AP2KB Kediri City in carrying out social protection in the form of two programs, namely: (1) increasing the capacity of the SATGAS PPA task force for theprotection of women and children with the impact of the SATGAS PPA program being able to prevent violence against women and children, increasing the ability of SATGAS PPA case assistance, reduce cases of violence. ; (2) improving the quality of life of women and children with the impact of the psychological recovery of victims of violence, which can restore the social functioning of the victims, and create a child-friendly community environment
