Advisor: Rahmila Murtiana, M.A\ud \ud \ud Keywords: Figure of speech, moral value, Robert Frost’s selected poems\ud \ud The problem formulation of this research are: What are the types of figure of speech that can be found in Robert Frost’s selected poems, what type of figure of speech mostly appears in Robert Frost’s selected poems, and what moral values are found in Robert Frost’s selected poems.\ud The subject of this research are the text of Robert Frost’s poems: “The Road Not Taken”, “Fire and Ice”, “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”, “Tree at My Window”, “Birches”, and “Nothing Gold Can Stay”. The objects of this research are figure of speech and moral value of the poems. \ud This research uses library research. The technique of collecting data is documentary. Data processing and analysis in this research are collecting, categorizing and analyzing.\ud Based on the analysis, the writer concludes that among the three figures of speech in Robert Frost’s selected poems. It can be found two similes, five metaphors and eighteen personifications. Generally, the moral value that can be gotten from Robert Frost’s selected poems come from God command. Overall, the poet uses nature as his poem background
