The Analysis of Indonesian Words that are Used in English Magazines

The problem formulation of this research are about how the Indonesian words used in English Magazines are and what types of Indonesian words that mostly used in English Magazines are \ud The data of this research are the use of Indonesian words in English magazines and types of Indonesian words that are mostly used in English magazines. The source of data are Colours of Garuda Indonesia Magazines on February and March edition 2015, C’n s Cool’n Smart English Teen Magazine on November – December edition 2013, Bali and Beyond Magazine on April edition 2015, and Jakarta Java Kini on May edition 2015.\ud Type of this research is library research. This study collects the data by identified, classified, analyzed with descriptive method. Data processing in this research are listing the data, rechecking all collected data, classifying and analyzing.\ud Based on the analysis, the writer concludes that the use of Indonesian words in English Magazines. They are transference, recognized translation, paraphrase, descriptive equivalents, and literal translation. The types of Indonesian words that are mostly used in English Magazines are noun, adverb and adjective
