Strategies of EFL Students in Speaking Skills (A Case Study at Ibnul Amin Islamic Boarding School of Pamangkih-Barabai)

What the students’ strategies in speaking skills at Ibnul Amin Islamic Boarding School of Pamangkih are?, 2). What the most strategy used by EFL students in speaking skill at Ibnul Amin Islamic Boarding School of Pamangkih is?\ud The populations of this research are 145 students who live at Basic English Program of Ibnul Amin Islamic Boarding School of Pamangkih. The sample of this research are 36 or 25% students’ of the total number of the students. \ud To collect the data, the writer uses some techniques such as survey, observation, interview, and documentary. Data processing in this research is divided into method: Qualitative and Descriptive. Then, all the data are analyzed descriptively.\ud The learning strategies in speaking skills are conversation, English area, listening music, and study tour.\ud The most strategy used by the students in speaking skills at Basic English Program of Ibnul Amin Islamic Boarding School of Pamangkih is English area, because it is most effective for students to speak and try use English language for communication naturally
