This study describes The Use of Cartoon Movie Clips in Teaching and Learning English Vocabulary at the Seventh Grade of MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Al-Furqan Banjarmasin.The problemsin this research are: 1) How is the use of cartoon movie clips in teaching and learning vocabulary at the seventh grade of MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Al furqan Banjarmasin? 2) What are the students’ responses toward the use of cartoon movie clips at the seventh grade of MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Al furqan Banjarmasin?\ud \ud In this research the researcher used descriptive qualitative method. The populations of this study were all students of the seventh grade at MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Al- Furqan Banjarmasin. The samples of the study were 72 or 25% students of each class in the seventh grade MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Al furqan Banjarmasin.\ud \ud The techniques of data collection are observation, interview, questioner and documentary. Data processing in this research is divided into forth stages; they are editing, coding, tabulating and interpretation. Then all data are analyzed descriptively qualitatively.\ud The result of the research found that the students’ response to use cartoon movie clips in learning vocabulary can be good and positive response. It can be seen from the result of questioner, the percentage of students’ responses to use Cartoon Movie Clips technique is above 80%.\ud \ud The writer also can state that the students’ responses are positive from the observation. There are many responses of students not only from their enthusiastic to material that the teacher gave by using cartoon movie clips but also their motivation in learning English vocabulary is better. It is shown that the students often mention and say some new English words in the cartoon movie clips. The students never do this before. It is because students not only learn vocabulary but they also get entertainment that why made students learn vocabulary easily
