A new and effective corrosion inhibitor namely ACIDEX-Q1, useful during acidization of petroleum well has been synthesized in the laboratory front indigenous and cost effective chemicals and its corrosion inhibiting action has been evaluated by weight toss and electrochemical techniques in 15% hydrochloric acid under boiling condition.
