A computer aided characterization technique has been proposed to calculate the five parameters of a solar cell represented by one diode model. The nonlinear I-V relation is linearized by Taylor series expansion. The cell parameters Iph, I,, A, R, and Rsh are obtained by solving five analytical expressions simultaneously.
