Treatment of simple bone cysts with aspiration and a single bone marrow injection

The authors report the results of percutaneous aspiration and injection of marrow into active. simple bone cyst in 17 cases. Slow regression of the cyst and progressive healing were obtained in 13 cases (76%), no response was observed in 2 cases (12%), and recurrence was observed in 2 others (12%) after a follow-up of 33.9 months.
