The study of the control methods of the induction motor driving systems could be not made without a powerful simulation tool and even more, an easy to use, versatile test stand, able to quickly step forward from simulation to real-time control. The paper deals with such a development in the field, a simulation library developed within Matlab-Simulink® and a simple to use testing stand built around a DSP system. The quick implementation of the control algorithm and the interfacing of the sensors has been made possible by taking advantage of the friendly interface supplied by dSPACE GmbH between his DS1102 DSP board and the Matlab-Simulink® environment: the various control loops were developed in a very short time, simply by addition of new b...
