Floor heating is increasingly used as the primary heat transfer system in newly built residential apartment buildings. A common conception in the building industry is that embedded floor heating systems adjust poorly due to high thermal mass and slow response time. The operation of a type-A floor heating system in different fluctuating thermal loading conditions is analyzed in this study. The goal is the future improvement of the floor heating system performance.
