: Since the institutionalisation of student mobility, its extension must first of all be put into perspective. Once its « democratisation » has been observed as being limited to access to the offer of mobility in higher education and its « cost » for individuals, it is then possible to raise questions about the insertion and professional « success » of graduates that have taken advantage of exchange programmes on the various employment markets in Europe.
