This study reports a critical analysis of the different arguments usually put forward to explain the failure of education strategies for Batwa people in Burundi. The central assumption is that these strategies are constructed along an ethnic categorization of the Batwa group emphasizing the difference between this group and the rest of Burundian population. These strategies become a real barrier for political, social and educational integration. The results of the study show that the Batwa people themselves, public authorities and most of the nongovernmental organizations take on a share of the propagation of this representation, which confines the Batwa in marginality.La présente étude analyse de façon critique les arguments traditionnelle...
