El espacio en el relato de Ex 19-40 : aproximación narrativa y aportación teológica

This PhD thesis aims to study the spatial dimension of the story of Ex 19-40 from a synchronic perspective. Embedded in the field of narratology research of biblical stories, it shows how space is one of the essential components of the mentioned chapters of the Book of Exodus. In these chapters, the set up of narrative space shapes the relationship between space and the characters who inhabit it. From the top of the mountain, Yahweh establishes a vertical relationship with the other characters. The story evolves towards an alternative: the development of an alliance between Yahweh and the people who were spatially the most distant ones. This partnership becomes possible thanks to Moses, who is able to pass through the permeability of the limits on the mountain. This alliance also involves Yahweh´s decision to build a shrine where he would dwell among the people. In this regard, this research study emphasizes the particular way in which Yahweh gives structure to the sanctuary and we underline how the narrator tells the whole process of the construction.Esta investigación tiene por objetivo el estudio de la dimensión espacial del relato de Ex 19-40 desde una perspectiva sincrónica. Se sitúa en el ámbito de la investigación narratológica sobre los relatos bíblicos y muestra cómo el espacio es uno de los componentes esenciales de los capítulos mencionados. El tratamiento del espacio narrativo en estos capítulos configura la relación existente entre el espacio y el personaje que lo habita. Yahvé en lo alto de la montaña establece una relación vertical con el resto de los personajes. Como alternativa se crea una alianza entre Yahvé y el pueblo, que espacialmente son los más distanciados. Esta alianza es posible gracias a Moisés, quien atraviesa la permeabilidad de los límites impuestos en la montaña. Conlleva a su vez la decisión de Yahvé de construir un santuario para habitar en medio del pueblo. En este sentido, destacamos la manera particular en la que Yahvé estructura el santuario y subrayamos la puesta en escena del proceso entero de su construcción y levantamiento.(THEO - Théologie) -- UCL, 201
