Introduction: Lung transplant recipients are at the highest risk of infectious complications among all solid-organ transplant (SOT) recipients. In the current era, many standardized protocols in terms of diagnostic algorithms, prophylaxis, and therapeutic strategies have improved the management of the most common infectious complications.
