Add to ORKGIn this thesis, the author reproves the result obtained by Moen, using a different model, lattice model, for the Weil representation. Using this model, the trace of Weil representation of U(1) is calculated and the multiplicity of character of U(1) in the Weil representation is also found. The theta correspondence of the reductive dual pair (U(1) ,U(1)) is also explicitly found
