Field measurement data captured during the passing of typhoon Kammuri by an integrated GPS and accelerometer measurement system has been used to study the responses and dynamic characteristics of a full-scale tall building. This research aims to investigate how GPS and accelerometer sensors perform relative to each other, and to determine the global deformation displacements, including quasi-static and resonant components, under typhoon conditions provided by GPS technology. Dynamic characteristics of the subjected building were also indentified from both acceleration and displacement time series observations
