We study the Bose-Einstein condensate in a harmonic trap in the weakly interacting limit well below the temperature for Bose-Einstein condensation transition. We show that the ground state is a canonical coherent state. The energy spectrum, the chemical potential, and the order parameter for the condensate are obtained analytically.
