Hörgeschädigte Kinder sind aufgrund ihrer eingeschränkten auditiven Wahrnehmung in vielfältiger Weise gefährdet in ihrer sprachlichen, kognitiven und sozial-emotionalen Entwicklung. In der vorliegenden Studie werden sozial-emotionale Auffälligkeiten hörgeschädigter Kinder im Schulalter im Zusammenhang mit möglichen Problemen in der Entwicklung exekutiver Funktionen sowie der kommunikativen Kompetenz diskutiert. Eine Stichprobe von 145 Schülern wurde von ihren Lehrkräften mit einer deutschen Version des „Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Functions (BRIEF-D)“, einer Skala zur Beurteilung der kommunikativen Kompetenz sowie dem Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ-D) untersucht.
