A partir de un poema póstumo de Paul Celan, el presente artículo analiza el dictum de Theodor W. Adorno sobre la imposibilidad de la lírica después de Auschwitz y busca determinar el impacto de tal proposición en la obra de Celan. Al mismo tiempo, indaga la recepción de la poesía de Celan en las ideas mismas de Adorno, particularmente en Negative Dialektik y Ästhetische Theorie.
