ABSTRACT Keywords: gout, blood pressure Uric acid acts as both oxidative and destructive. Increased uric acid in the form of hyperuricemia plays an important role in the inflammatory process so that it can cause an increase in blood pressure. This study aims to determine the relationship of blood uric acid levels with blood pressure in mothers and the elderly in Posyandu Guyup Rukun Penanggungan Malang. This is a correlative analytic study using a cross-sectional approach on a sample of 25 people using purposive sampling.
