Peer Review: Strategi Pemerintah Desa Dalam Pemberdayaan Kelompok Tani

Empowerment strategies undertaken by the Village Government especially specifically for farmer groups are efforts to improve the quality of human resources (HR), strengthen existing potentials and protect farmer groups by forming and changing community behavior through developing their potentials. This study aims to determine the strategy of the village government in increasing empowerment to the community, especially farmer groups in Pujon Lor Village, Pujon District, Malang Regency. This study uses a qualitative description method. The technique for determining informants is purposive sampling. Data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis through the stage of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. To maintain the validity of the data is done through the technique triangulation stage. The results showed that in creating an atmosphere to develop the potential of villages, especially farmer groups, the government had invited extension workers to help improve the understanding of farmer groups in order to develop the existing potential. In addition, the village government's strategy to increase the capacity of farmer groups by strengthening existing potentials and protecting farmer groups from various competitions that occur the village government has conducted monitoring and socialization in order to make the farmer groups more prosperous
