Electronic clocks have predominately replaced themechanical clocks. They are much reliable, accurate,maintenance free and portable. In general, there aretwo kinds of electronic clocks. They are analog clockand digital clock. But digital clocks are morecommon and independent of external source. Thissystem is mainly intended to develop digital clock byusing PIC controlling system. T he microcontrollerbased digital clock is constructed with PIC16F628 inthis system . Various types of digital clocks andmodules are available in the market nowadays butthis clock is different at least in the accurate time.
