Mobility prediction is one of the mostcritical research areas in wireless network. At thenetwork level, accurate node mobility prediction maybe critical to tasks such as call admission control,reservation of network resources, pre-configurationof services and QoS provisioning. At the applicationlevel, user mobility prediction in combination withuser’s profile may provide the user with enhancedlocation-based wireless services such as routeguidance, local traffic information and on-lineadvertising.
