Long Term Evolution (LTE) is a mobile networkthat operates completely in packet domain. Due to thevariation of radio condition in LTE, the obtainablebit rate for active users will vary. The two factors forradio variation are fading and path-loss. Byanalyzing the previous researches concerning withpacket scheduling of LTE network, in this paper, ananalytical model of the LTE radio scheduler isproposed. This model is based on the stochasticprocess to observe the system behaviormathematically and takes the details of theschedluler’s behavior taking into account given in astate of the system, i.e. the number of the active usersand their distance from the base station.
