Query-Focused Multi-Document Summarization for Earthquake News Written in Myanmar Language

Due to the fast growth of online informationon the Internet, there are a large number of journals,magazines, information portals and personal blogsites written in Myanmar language have now onlineeditions. But there need more time to read and graspit. Manual analysis of the conveyed documentsbecomes almost impossible. Therefore, the process ofsummarizing documents is becoming increasinglypopular. It is a kind of text mining strategy whichinvolves reducing a text document or multipledocuments into a short set of words or paragraphwhich conveys the main meaning of the text. Althoughthere are many language text summarizers butMyanmar language summarizer is still in researcharea. Summarizing the important information fromthe multiple documents written in MyanmarLanguage at short period of time is not mature. Inthis paper, when the user queries one or moreoptions, the system extracts the relevant importantsentences from the documents. After that, the systemabstracts the important information in fewer wordsand then gives the word level summary to the userthat is relevant to the user query options.
