All the specimens of Piper betle L. were collected from Pantanaw Township, Ayeyawady Region, Twan tay Township, Yangon Region, Ye U Township, Sagaing Region, during November 2012 to November 2013. In this research, morphological and anatomical characters of Piper betle L. of the leaves, stems and roots of the three different localities were studied. In morphological characters, color and size of leaves showed variable in one another. The red streaks were present in the stems and petioles of Pantanaw (Kun sein) and Twan tay (Kun sein). The anatomical characters showed differences in thickness of laminae; cell layers and the numbers of vascular bundles of petioles, midribs and stems.
