The main objective of the study is to analyze the effect of training and development on employee performance in Private Banks. The descriptive and analytical research methods are used to meet the objectives of the study. A total of employees from ten private banks that is the highest assets and market share within private banks in Yangon are surveyed by using random sampling methods. The research data is collected by using research questionnaires instruments. Though there are some limitations to obtain the accurate data, it is determined the data to interpret the correlations between the independent and dependent variables.
