ANALISIS KEGUNAAN BUAH DELIMA (Punica granatum L.) DALAM SEDIAAN KOSMETIK YANG DIGUNAKAN SEBAGAI BAHAN AKTIF PADA ARTIKEL MEDIA ONLINE INDONESIA

Introduction: Pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) Pomegranate, known for its high antioxidant potential, has been used for medicinal properties for centuries. Pomegranates are rich sources of polyphenols, including ellagitannin, gallotannin, ellagic acid, gallagic acid, catechins, anthocyanins, ferulic acid, and quercetin. These polyphenols exhibit various biological activities, such as eliminating free radicals. Purpose: Conduct analysis by paying attention to the content and seeing what effects are given when consuming pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) or using cosmetic preparations that use pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) and knowing which cosmetic preparations use pomegranate or pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) .) therein in online media or related web articles. Methods: Using a descriptive qualitative research methodology that uses an analytical application, namely Nvivo, with the topic being raised, namely various cosmetic preparations that use pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) as an active ingredient. Result and Conclusion: The results showed that the consumption and use of pomegranate fruit and juice (Punica granatum L.) can provide antioxidant effects that are useful for the body, which can prevent free radicals, reduce aging of the skin, and can also help in regenerating cells in the skin.
