Perspektif HAM Terhadap Upaya Pemberantasan Perdagangan Orang Dalam UU PTPPO

The new Act of 2007 on Human Trafficking is a good news to the efforts against human trafficking in Indonesia. However, the inducement of such act has not yet become a guarantee to overcome the problem. The most vulnerable victims of the human trafficking are women and children. This paper assumes that legal substance should not only be accompanied by legal implement, bur also should be followed with the readiness of legal appartus as well as legal infrastuctures. This paper also suggest that there should be socialisation on social-cultural perspective in looking the problems of human trafficking. The struggles against the human trafficking should be integrative and mobilizing all potential aspects, particularly those involved and victimized in the human trafficking
