Insured person and their family members of 70 years old or more enrolled in the best health insurance scheme were surveyed. The best insurance scheme means that scheme provides the insured and their family with effective health and welfare services and it is in excellent financial condition. The subjects were classified by status of receiving medical care services such as outpatient and inpatient care. The survey was conducted to determine factors related to motivations of receiving medical care services by an intreviewing method of health nurses. The results are as follows. 1.
