Based on work from D.S. Kliger (1985) and S. Wenzel (1997), an instrument for measuring ns-time resolved circular dichroism was developed. The principle of measurement is the ellipticity change of elliptically polarised white light pulses after interaction with a circularly dichroic sample. Both necessary measurements - one with left elliptically polarised light, one with right elliptically polarised light - are performed simultaneously. Aufbauend auf Arbeiten von D.S.
